On May 13, 2019, the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced a new list of goods they are proposing to impose additional Section 301 tariffs of up to 25% on. The proposed tariffs will be in addition to any existing customs duties as well as antidumping and countervailing duties.
GOODS SUBJECT TO THIS DUTY INCREASE:
New list of goods proposed covers almost all remaining products not already subject to Section 301 tariffs
The new list includes all apparel and footwear, agricultural and food products (including dairy, produce, and alcohol), live animals, steel and aluminum products currently excluded from List 1 duties but subject to Section 232 duties, household goods, jewelry, electronics (including machinery, computers, and televisions), vehicles, firearms, recreational equipment, books and artwork etc.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR NOTICE AND COMMENT PERIOD:
June 10, 2019: deadline for filing requests to appear at upcoming June 17 hearing
June 17, 2019: public hearing on this proposal held by USTR
June 17, 2019: deadline for written comments, including input on what specific tariff levels should be imposed and requests to exclude specific subheadings from the proposed tariff increase
